Simulation Policy

How we protect your personal and corporate data under international laws.

Finsimco LTD takes data privacy very seriously and is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. We collect and use certain information about simulation participants subject to data protection legislation. This policy explains when and why we collect participant data, how this information is used, which information is disclosed to our clients, and how it is kept secure.

2. What data do we collect

Personal details: Name and email address;

Data we collect when you use our platform;

Gameplay data: Participant real-time user interaction and user inputs in the simulation;

Log file information: We collect information that the participant browser sends whenever visiting our Platform. This log file information may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Platform visited, the time and date of the visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics;

Date and duration of a simulation;

Name of university or institution;

University course name;

University course type.

3. What we use the data for

Manage the relationship with your company or university;

Understand and respond to inquiries and User feedback;

Understand how our Users use the Platform;

Identify what our Users want and develop our relationship with your company or university;

Improve our Platform and offerings;

Manage our supply chain;

develop relationships with business partners.

4. With whom we share the data

Clients: We share your participant data with the client who administered the simulation you are partaking;

Financial Institutions: If you have performed above a performance threshold, we might reach out to you asking for your consent to share your name and simulation performance data with our network of Financial Institutions. This information is used to identify potential candidates for employment;

Suppliers: who support our business including IT and communication suppliers. Our suppliers have to meet standards regarding information security and they will only be provided data in line with their function;

Change of control: If we sell or otherwise transfer part or the whole of Finsimco or our assets to another organization (e.g., in the course of a transaction like a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, liquidation), your information and any other information collected through the Platform may be among the items sold or transferred. The buyer or transferee will have to honour the commitments we have made in this Privacy Policy;

Legal requests and preventing harm: We may access, preserve and share your personal data in response to a legal request (like a search warrant, court order, or subpoena) if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. We may also access, preserve and share information when we have a good faith belief it is necessary to (i) detect, prevent and address fraud and other illegal activity and (ii) to protect ourselves, you, and others, including as part of investigations. Information we receive about you may be accessed, processed, and retained for an extended period of time when it is the subject of a legal request or obligation, governmental investigation, or investigations concerning possible violations of our terms or policies, or otherwise to prevent harm.

5. Security and Liability

Finsimco has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures by using the latest technologies to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing. We use safeguards to help keep the information collected through the Platform secure and take steps (such as requesting a unique email log in) to verify your identity before granting you access to your account. However, we cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit to us or guarantee that information on the Platform may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed;

We are not responsible for the practices employed by any applications, websites, or services linked to or from our Platform, including the information or content contained within them.

6. Your rights

Data protection law gives you a number of rights when it comes to personal information. You have the right to be informed as to the processing of your personal data, to access your data, obtain a copy of the data, port the data, restrict, rectify or object to processing of the data, or request that the data be deleted or to withdraw consent;

If you think that we are using your information in a way which breaches data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority. 7. Where we store your information

We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your personal information is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy notice. If we transfer data to countries or organisations outside of the UK and the EU which the EU does not consider to have an adequate data protection regime in place, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards (for example, model clauses approved by the EU or a data protection authority) are put in place where required. 8. Data Security

As well as the measures set out above in relation to sharing of your information, we have put in place appropriate internal security measures to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. They will only process your personal information on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality;

9. How long will we keep your information for?

We have set out above indications of how long we generally keep your information. In some circumstances, it may be necessary to keep your information for longer than that in order to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements;
